1. Introduction

Welcome to Acadwings, operated by Acadwings Technologies Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in New Delhi, India ("Acadwings", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using www.acadwings.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and User Agreement (collectively, the "Policies"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Acadwings is an academic media and review network that connects:

• Experts (Educators and Academic Professionals) sharing knowledge, and

Acadwings operates solely as a neutral intermediary and does not verify or endorse user-generated content, reviews, or opinions.

3. Eligibility

To use Acadwings:

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent if under 18.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and platform policies.

Acadwings reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if eligibility conditions are not met.

4. Account Registration

Users must create an account to access certain features. By registering, you agree to:

• Maintain accurate and updated information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Notify support@acadwings.com immediately in case of unauthorized access.

Acadwings is not responsible for any losses resulting from compromised accounts.

5. User Roles and Responsibilities

a. Students & Parents

• Share genuine and respectful reviews.
• Avoid defamatory, exaggerated, or false statements.

b. Experts (Educators & Academic Professionals)

• Share educational insights responsibly.
• Do not promote products, misrepresent credentials, or post inaccurate information.

c. Institutions

• Maintain truthful, verifiable information on their profiles.
• Accept responsibility for any uploaded content or claims.
• Respond to reviews professionally and courteously.

6. Content Ownership and License

You retain full ownership of the content you create (reviews, posts, media). By posting, you grant Acadwings a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute your content for operational and promotional purposes. You affirm that your content does not violate any third-party rights or laws. Acadwings may remove or edit content that violates this Policy or applicable regulations.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or misleading content.
• Impersonate individuals or institutions.
• Upload copyrighted or plagiarized materials.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or scraping tools.
• Engage in harassment, spam, or fraudulent reviews.

Acadwings reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Moderation and Review Process

Acadwings employs a review moderation system to ensure fair and responsible communication. We may:

• Edit, hide, or remove content violating policies.
• Temporarily restrict accounts for suspicious activity.
• Retain removed content for internal or legal review.

Decisions by the moderation team are final.

9. Data and Privacy

All personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Acadwings:

• Uses data to improve functionality, security, and analytics.
• Does not sell or trade personal information.
• Complies with the IT Act, 2000 (India) and GDPR (EU) where applicable.

10. Payment and Refunds (If Applicable)

Some Acadwings services (such as premium institutional listings) may be paid features. All payments are processed through secure gateways. Refunds are provided only for verified duplicate transactions or system errors. Once a service period begins, fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

11. Intellectual Property

All Acadwings logos, software, and design assets are the exclusive property of Acadwings. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of platform materials is prohibited and may result in legal action.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Acadwings shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform and its services are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy or reliability. Acadwings does not guarantee the authenticity of user reviews or institutional content.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acadwings, its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners from any claims or damages resulting from:

• Your use of the Platform,
• Your uploaded content, or
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

14. Suspension or Termination

Acadwings may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• You violate these Terms or related policies,
• Engage in unlawful or abusive conduct, or
• Harm other users or the platform’s reputation.

Terminated accounts may be restricted from re-registration.

15. Arbitration Clause

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

16. Force Majeure

Acadwings shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Internet outages or cyberattacks

• Force majeure events as defined under Indian law

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, following the arbitration process outlined above.

18. Global Jurisdiction Compliance

For users outside India, Acadwings remains governed by Indian law but strives to comply with regional data and consumer protection regulations, including GDPR (EU) and similar global standards.

19. Disclaimer

Acadwings serves as a neutral academic media platform. We do not verify, guarantee, or endorse any user-submitted information or institutional claims. All opinions expressed on the Platform are solely those of the users.

20. Amendments

Acadwings reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Revisions will be posted on this page with a “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
